Branding and design
Trilingua
Languages Academy

Trilingua is a language school that I used to run. It offered accommodation, activities, and tours in the island of Gran Canaria.
I was in charge of creating digital content for social media, designing marketing materials (both print and digital), recording and editing video, as well as designing engaging resources for lessons.
Overview
In 2018 I moved back to Spain and started an academy persuing my love of languages. This language school allowed international students to live in Gran Canaria and to participate in outdoor activities while learning Spanish. It also promoted the enjoyment of local culture.
For this project, while I was living in China, I commissioned the logo to Nines, a very talented illustrator, so I could start promoting the school overseas. This fox represents being smart, daring and the playfulness of language learning. At this stage the logo had a tagline, in order to represent the values of the school with one quick look.

Once the logo was defined, I worked on the branding guidelines for my school; detailing the colour scheme, typography and imagery style. The first print materials were created as well: Business cards, flyers, promotional posters, etc.

During the next years, regular content was posted on social media, enhancing the virtues of my language immersion, I used to share tips on how to study languages, quick posts about grammar tips, and videos with short lessons and even cooking recipes. I used to make that content from scratch and to edit those videos myself, always respecting the branding guidelines and keeping the consistency in all platforms.

During the pandemic the school had to go fully online. There was a set of videos and imagery I had to prepare to offer e-learning lessons on the website, adapting to the new circumstances.

In 2021 the academy focused on the immersive experiences, offering short lessons blended with local culture, as well as language camps, including accommodation with the teacher while having lessons and enjoying cultural activities around the island. For that purpose, other materials were created for social media.
